First of all sorry if the images aren't too clear they are pictures of a picture!!
Apparently when my ob says he is going to do measurements he means of my tummy and not our LO! I went into the apt thinking we were getting a long u/s and had DH take off work and my mom leave work and meet us at the apt. When they put us in a regular exam room my heart sank cause I realized I must have gotten things confused. Once the dr came in he explained what he meant and acknowledged how confusing he was and apologized. He used the doppler and found the heart beat right off and then measured my tummy and said everything seemed great. When he left the room he said he would be right back with some paper work or something, to be honest I wasn't listening cause I was so disappointed. My mom decided she would head back to work and went to leave but he stopped her at the door and told her to wait a few minutes!! Then the u/s tech (who at one point her dog was a patient of mine) came to the door and told us he was doing an u/s for us!!! I was thrilled!!
So we get to see our little one and within a few minutes the tech asks us if we want to know what we are having. YES!!!! I reminded her I was only 15 weeks but she said BOY!!! She checked several times and even made sure she wasn't seeing the umbilical cord and said there was no doubt in her mind we are having a boy!! We didn't get the best profile pic of him cause he was sleepy and wasn't moving much. We did get to see him yawn and stretch his little fingers out and I melted and fell even harder in love with him!!!

Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
