I am cooking a very fancy dinner today for a party tomorrow (it braises for 12 hours then rests for 8), and I really want a glass of wine while I cook. It's only 10 am. Maybe I will wait until 11. That would be acceptable, right?

I caught a flight last night to come see my cousin who had a baby 6 weeks after my LO was born and I called my boss this morning and told him the baby has a fever so she can't go to daycare. 6 months in and I'm already using her as an excuse

I've been worried about finances lately and grouching at my husband about cutting costs, like selling the extra car he had. But I've been doing some online shopping and not telling him... Whoops.

I'm looking forward to going back to work soon...love my LO to bits but I am not cut out to be a SAHM. Although I'm am a FTM...I'm sure the first 6 months are the hardest. I find that I'm super bored, I'm sure once he can communicate and is more mobile then life at home won't be so boring.

I have like 40 pairs of pants that don't fit and I'm afraid they never will. I only have a couple that fit, and soon it will be too cold for dresses and skirts here.

I am addicted to motherhood maternity shirts with the rouching on the sides, they are so flattering and I don't *think* people know what I'm wearing.

Someone gave us a huge bottle if Burts Bees baby bee lotion and its almost all gone because I have been using it on my hands/arms.

Don't feel bad -- I"m not full time SAHM material either, at least not at this age. I was ready to go back and enjoy the break every day, although I wish It could be like a 5-6 hour workday instead of 8 (10 including commuting time).

I'm with you on this. And no matter how bad I feel about it I just don't have the Will power to change my eating habits and loose the 10lbs that will get me back in them.

I want to throat punch my DH today. DS was up most of the night not feeling well and DH refused to get up and help. Most nights he is so helpful, so I should not be too upset, but I am anyway. I had a few choice words for him this morning, and don't have anything good to say still. Throat punching may just happen when I get home. I am tired and grumpy, while he had plenty of sleep and feels refreshed.

I'm with you on this. And no matter how bad I feel about it I just don't have the Will power to change my eating habits and loose the 10lbs that will get me back in them.

If I could get all mine to nap at the same time I would do this too. I actually think as long as my toddler takes a nap, I may just watch it anyways even if the twins are awake!

Ditto. I am at the consignment store all the time, but my hubs loves it that I buy second hand clothes.

Yes, unfortunately it was the way he was brought up. I also love Once Upon a Child. Sometimes you can even find stuff with the tags still on!

My once upon a child is pricey I think. Used sleepers for $4, new ones for 7-10. I can find better deals on clearance racks. Lots of brand new gear for like 10%off store prices - again, I can do better with a coupon at BRU or BBB.

I just opened a couple months ago and I was super excited but after a couple visits I have no intention to shop there.

I don't really buy pjs there... It's a good place to get cute, nicer outfits (like nicer than Carter's) that I wouldn't want to spend the money for if they were new.

Me too! I confess that the last time I really bought anything new was 3 years ago when I couldn't fit into my fall/winter clothes after having Cameron. Now I'm living in nursing tanks, jeans and cardigans. I hate everything I own. I know a lot of it is that I need to lose more weight and I feel like I don't deserve to buy anything.

I'm supposed to be doing Weight Watchers but cheat all the time and go over my points. All I ever want to do is stuff my face. So I do and then complain that I'm not losing any weight. Wah wah. lol
