Happy Friday ladies! First of all, a big welcome and congrats to new PAIFers - @baker916 and snarling fox!

GL to those TTCing, and if you are awaiting results. T&Ps to those who need them. Get well wishes to the ones who are sick.

It's the final weekend in September! Where did the summer go? What are your plans for the weekend?

I am starting this thread early because I suspect I'll have a very busy day tomorrow! I am hosting a lunch/play date at my place on Friday. Originally there will be 3 moms + 3 babies (plus M and I), but one baby is out sick. WE are doing pizza and salads for lunch, then either we'll "play" at home or we'll head out to a park/grassy field that's 1/2 block from my house. Expecting LOTS of clean up afterwards. I met these ladies/babies soon after M was born at the BF support group. We try to get together once every month or 2. Can't believe they are turning 1 soon!

Saturday no plans for the day but I'm going to a classical music concert in the evening. This will be my first night out since May. The classical music/opera scene goes dark during the summer but now it's in full swing, so I'll be out a lot at night in the coming weeks/months.

Sunday we are supposed to meet our friends and their 8 month-old daughter for dim sum in Chinatown. This will be our first venture to Chinatown with M, and his first taste of dim sum! Looking forward to it!

We're up and at 'em early this morning. DH, LO and I are on our way to Hilton Head! Squeeeeeee!!! We're breaking the drive up over two days and will meet my parents there tomorrow. We've only been on the road an hour and a half or so, so all has gone well. We've packed so much stuff it's crazy. Hopefully we'll have a blast the next week!

QOTW: we honestly haven't talked about it. I kinda doubt we will this year but definitely will next year.

@pb_bride Sounds like you have an exciting weekend! I hope the play date is fun and not too messy!

Tonight we are going out with another couple for poutine (a Canadian specialty!) So excited, cuz it's so yummy!

Tomorrow we have our local Grape and Wine festival parade, which I have gone almost every year of my life. After the parade we go to a local park where food vendors set up and there is free entertainment. It's on of my favourite things to do in September.

Sunday we have church. Actually DH and I are in charge of the baby nursery this week. Our first time, I was a little surprised when he told me he wouldn't mind volunteering but I think it's awesome. Then we are meeting up with another couple and their children at a park to hang out.

Happy friday! Welcome others as well

This weekend we have a wedding in Baltimore so dropping ds off tomorrow morning but heading back tomorrow night after the wedding. Rather save the 170 on the hotel since I will be the sober one anyways. That's about it!

QOTD: Definitely will be going to cox farms around here this month. They have like 15 slides for different ages and it was a lot of fun last year. This year will be so much better since ds can run around now and really enjoy it!

Hi all!

We are taking the kids to a local horse rescue farm tomorrow for their Fall festival. The proceeds go to supporting the amazing rehabilitation work they do throughout the year for abused and neglected horses.

They have live music, food, and a beer garden for the adults and games, a petting zoo, and a Halloween parade of horses in costume for the kids. The weather should be perfect!

We always get our kid(s) and my niece together before Halloween to visit another local farm. They have hayrides, pony rides, a petting zoo, lots of good food, and pumpkin picking. It's always a good time for everyone

Ugh!!! Well Sunday is a special day because it's our 6 year anniversary, 1 years anniversary of testing + on a pregnancy tests, and O's baptism. I "ugh" come from the fact that my mom is visiting from FL and she's pissing me off to no end. Everything is said in a cute voice as if she's speaking from his point of view, and she keeps calling him "my baby." I can't stand it and I told her that. Now she's mad at me and is sulking downstairs while O and I are upstairs getting ready for the day. She's also complaining that she has a cold now because NY weather is so terrible. I mean, she lived here for 55 years you would think she would have packed something warmer to wear!

Just pray that Sunday there will just be a baptism and not a funeral!

We have a wedding tomorrow night. Its one of my good friends and I feel horrible saying this, but I have about as much interest in going as I do going to the dentist right about now

Nothing personal with her - just the week from hell around here with M being sick, DH being out of town and then coming back just in time for me to head out the past two days. I"m exhausted and would so much rather lay low at home all weekend rather than drop over $100 on a babysitter for 8 plus hours.

Sunday - we have a local festival during the day and then we're going to my moms because my stepbrother is in town.

Happy Friday!!

This weekend there is a big fair in our town and since it's about the only thing that happens in our town, we'll be going to that My parents are coming to visit tomorrow to go with us. Then we'll be relaxing on Sunday.

QOTW: We'll definitely be going to the pumpkin patch. We go every year with my SIL, niece and nephew. We brought DS last year although he was only about 2 months so it will be much more fun this year! Can't wait!!

Happy Friday

It's especially happy for me because I had an awful migraine last night and it was gone when I woke up. Sure puts things into perspective for me and I thoroughly appreciate every day without a migraine.

Tonight is back to school night for G's daycare. Since he is moving rooms in January, we are going to visit the new room. After that we are taking DH's parents out to dinner for my FIL's birthday. The rest of our weekend is open. There is a really neat kid's park near us with all kinds of slides and things to play on. He is so active and loves to be outside, and the weather is cooling off finally, so I think we'll take him there this weekend.

We always have a special Friday night dinner to celebrate Shabbat, although the service is now very abbreviated and the meal far less elaborate than it was before LO was mobile.

We are having friends over tomorrow evening for dinner and swim.

Sunday is very structured with DH going for a very early morning bike ride, then when he comes home I go to yoga. We usually shop and coon together and then go to his dad and SM for dinner and to watch football.

Happy Friday!!

We are about to head out to Houston for at least tonight and tomorrow. DH is working an AC for a friend and we finally get to meet their LO that was born in June. I also have at least 4 hours worth of grading/lesson planning calling my name.

QOTW: We don't have pumpkin patches around here (at least none that I'm aware of). It doesn't even feel like fall, but then again it usually doesn't.
