has anyone else bled in their second trimester

was in ER last week for 4 hours. they heard baby's heartbeat (thank G) and did other tests. all seems ok BUT

they dont really know what happened, other than maybe i had burst a capillary. has anyone else on here experienced this?

now i have to rest (not on bedrest yet- hope it doesnt move in that direction). it was so scary!

I had it to happen with my first. Never figured what it was but my son is 16 years old now. Hope all is well.

Haven't had it happen but my Dr today noticed that my placenta is low, not enough to be considered previa, but she wants to really watch it and she said if I have any spotting to definitely let her know for the reason that previa can cause bleeding/spotting. Did they do a sono to check where your placenta is located? That would be the only other thing I could think of, but really, it probably is just a burst capillary something pretty benign like that. I wouldn't worry too much, just pay attention to it and definitely let your Dr know.
