Ok my ds turned 10 months today!! I still can't believe it! We live in michigan so having a first birthday party in November is kinda hard, it's got to be inside. But we don't have a ton of money either but our list is just too many people to fit in our house. Any ideas would be welcome.
I hear ya. My DD's 1st birthday party is at the end of Oct here in Ohio. We are having it at home indoors, but I'm capping the guest list at 20.
Does your local library or a church have a room available for the community to use? Or perhaps a friend lives in an apartment or condo with party room you could borrow? Good luck!

Fire stations usually have cheap or sometimes free community rooms for rent. I think it would be cute to do this w/a fireman/fire truck theme. Or you could check to see if your local library has available rooms. Along the same lines, you could do a book theme.
