Aunt Flo - yikes!

I just started my first postpartum period.  Joy.   My body seems to be trying to kill me with blood loss.  Was anyone else's really really heavy the first time?  Does it get better?  If it doesn't get better, please lie to me.

    My first was horrible, and it hasn't gotten much better, but that might also be the IUD.

    My first couple of cycles were horrible!  I had severe cramping, backache and moodiness which I never had before LO.  Fortunately, they did return to normal.
