do you give your LO vitamins?

My ped prescribed vitamins, was just wondering. I would have assumed my baby got all her nutritional needs from her formula.

Why would an otherwise healthy baby need vitamins? Silly. I've heard of Vitamin D drops, but that's because BM doesn't have it.

We're supposed to be giving TriVitamin drops (D, A & E) but she hates them, so we just go outside for a few minutes each day!

Our little guy takes PolyViSol with iron vitamin drops, along with Neosure formula...our pedi said to probably keep him on the vitamins until he is eating solid foods pretty consistently, at around a year old.  Not sure if this is because our baby was a premie (he started the vitamin drops in the NICU when he was there) but definitely recommended by the doc for us.

Our LO takes the Vitamin D drops. She's BF and FF, but by the end of the week she will be EFF.

Sh wasn't a fan of the taste of the drops, not to mention they stain her clothes. I put the drops in a bottle with her first formula of the day. She is none the wiser!

We were on enfacare for the first 4 months, just switched to gentlease. Our neo told us vitamin drops until 6 months. Maybe this is routine for preemies.

DD is EBF so she gets Vit D drops. She seems to like them, which I think is weird ha. But I give them to her every  night as she's in the bath so they won't stain any clothes
