  Dear dd,
  Your mama is so proud of you! Your language and communication skills are really blossoming. Instead of tapping me on the shoulder and pointing to what you want you say "mama" and ask with your words which is the sweetest sound in the world. I'd really appreciate if you'd show off your skills to your therapists instead of silently playing with them so they don't think your mama is crazy when I say how much you're talking.

  As I am ready to pull dd out of cross country (b/c dd and ds are running everywhere but safe places or being compliant), she up and surprises me by staying with the coaches for the entire practice except the really long one. She even did half of it...:) and my ds played with another kid!

   

   

  I hope you feel better! Hopefully your DH goes with you to your IEP.
  
  I dragged my DH and gave him grief. He didn't want to go and I told him it was only an hour and that this was the only time I ask him to fight for me and DS. His job was to record our meeting on his phone while I did all the talking. It was good because the school told him DS had sensory issues when the whole time DH was denying that DS had sensory issues.
