    DH has finally started studying for his journeyman's license. I am proud of him. Now, it is a matter of how consistent he stays.

    I slept in the baby's glider with her for 2 hours this morning because If I left the nursery the cat would wake her up

    I fed D fried dough last night (cake donut). I feel pretty crappy about it. He didn't need it but he wanted what I was eating.

    @kiraliz2 did you try to strip them?  I've heard of some people using Dawn to get desitin out of diapers.  I would be super bummed :/

    Yes, a few times. No luck.
    Yikes. I'd tell them "I'll be deducting the cost of those diapers out of the tuition check for this week" , assuming you told them not to use anything other than what you provided for him.

    I told DS there's a secret monitor in his room so I know when he gets out of bed. He's been napping for 2 hours now. And DH said he looked all over his room for it when he went up. I do feel a little bad, but brother needs to nap and momma needs him to do it peacefully!

    H slept in until 7:30 this morning, which is an hour and a half later than usual. We had to get him up, and he cried the.saddest.cry. I felt bad.

    I've gone over my phone data plan this month, and I'm pretty sure it's all TB's fault! I told DH I need to go to iPhone rehab.

    DS had his first taste of Chinese food last night. I only wanted to give him plain white rice, regular chicken, and veggies, but DH gave him that super unhealthy fried General Tso's chicken and fried rice, and he liked it. Oh well. @persephonerose, don't feel bad about the donut because I think the chicken was fried + high sugar and sodium + msg, so probably worse.

    I had to take a typing test to certify for a job application with the city...

    I have never learned to type without looking at the keyboard (even though we have had a PC since 1979 in the home at all times)

    I only got 42WPM

    Hey, I know people that WERE taught to type and they are lucky if they get 25 wpm.

    I just realized last night that I have it pretty easy at work for the next 3 weeks.

    This week, pretty busy, insane almost.
    Next week, nothing special going on, just normal work.
    The next week is the week leading up to Thanksgiving (in Canada), so for my job, a little slow.
    Then I have a vacation week right after.

    It's the week after that scares me...lol.

    A super nice colleague is moving on to a new job. For the last two weeks we've been told that we would be doing something on Friday to send her off. Over the last three days it has morphed from Friday afternoon, to early Friday evening. Just now I got an email saying pre-dinner drinks and food, Friday at 5:00. Dinner at 8:30 and more drinks afterwards. She has two kids at home, as does most of the workplace. I was a little surprised by the late pub crawl announcement.

    So, I'm doing pre-dinner beer and then I am going home. I like her a lot, but I neither have the time nor cash.
