CD moms: cleaning prior to storage

I have a pile of prefolds and covers that we used when Clara was a newborn, and I'm tired of staring at them. What do you recommend in terms of laundering/stripping before I put them away for the next couple years? Thanks!

    I stripped them, sunned them and put them in a big Rubbermaid bin. Then I washed them again before we used them with ds2.

      DS1 4.4.11. &  DS2 4.18.13

    Yeah, what the other ladies said. Even storing them clean, you'll have to wash again before using...I think I would

    Thanks ladies! Yes, I'll definitely wash them again when I take them out! I'm in the middle of stripping them now, and if it's sunny tomorrow, I'll put them out to get rid of the stains.
