I know it takes your body time to regulate after coming off of the pill. Before I was on the pill, I had a regular 30/31 day cycle. I've never experienced sore BBs, but a couple weeks off the pill, I noticed they started to feel sore. Maybe tmi here, but they totally changed- nipples permanently poking out, growing "heavier", and just plain sore. Since I've never experienced it, it got my hopes up that maybe I was pg. I've taken 2 tests- both negative (CD 26 & 33). My period is just over a week late according to my calendar.. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what was your story?
(My DH and I have decided that we aren't going to temp or anything for the first few months and just enjoy my raging sex drive.)
Re: CD38 off birth control, 2 neg tests
ETA honestly, it's less stressful to temp than to try and guess what your body is doing every month.
This. Also, since it seems you recently came off BC and may still be regulating then there's no way to know if your period is really late. I'd just keep testing once a week until you get your period. If you hit CD 60 with no period then call your doctor.
TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!
DarcyHermione: We aren't considering temping for a few months since this is our first month TTC.
Know that there is no guarantee your cycle will be the same as before you went on BC and if you don't temp then you won't know for sure when to expect your period. Like PPs said - test weekly until a positive test or AF shows or you hit CD60.If you make it to CD60, call the doc.
