Milk thistle

Is it safe to take milk thistle while breastfeeding? Thank you!!

    I would be taking it for liver detoxing purposes not increasing milk supply... Just wanted to see if that would be safe :) thanks!

    It was recommended as a natural way to regulate hormones (as your hormones go through the liver) and I'm dealing with a very enlarged ovary and multiple cysts. It can sometimes help and if it's not harmful I'm willing to try while I wait for my consult with a specialist and possible surgery.
