Grant info for SN kids and update on SPD/ADHD/Anxiety DS

I don't post much anymore, but I thought I would pass this on. We received a partial grant from United Health Children's Foundation to help pay for OT for DS's SPD. There are a few hoops and they have strict guidelines, but it helped us a lot financially. DS has anxiety, ADHD as well as SPD. They even sent a letter to DS's OT thanking her for helping him. DS gets care packages every once in awhile and he thinks that is the best thing in the world. Just thought I would pass this on since it helped us so much.

For an update DS is rocking kindy. He got called to the principle today to get praised because he filled his "be responsible, be respectful, be ready" sticker chart. We finally have a good mix for meds and therapy. We started at a new clinic for med management and therapy for the anxiety and ADHD and so far we really like them. The Doc is going to help us with our IEP. DS is almost a graduate from the OT for his SPD. We still struggle a lot, but the difference from January to now is amazing. I am a proud mom.
