DH has the flu...

So DH woke up in the middle of the night last night really really sick and has been feeling horrible all day.  He is never sick so the fact that he hasn't left bed for more than 10 minutes today, means it must be pretty bad.  I looked up the vaccination schedule and noticed DD does not get the flu vaccine until 6 months, I'm kind of freaking out that she's going to get this.  Anyone else in this situation and/or have words of advice?

    Yes...he should stay away from LO as much as is possible. Do not want baby getting the flu!

    Yes, he's on strict orders to stay away.  I'm sleeping on the couch attempting not to get it, and he hasn't gone near her since he got sick.  He just looks at her sadly through the monitor...poor guy!

    No advice other than to clean everything and keep them apart. Just wanted to say bless you for taking care of a baby and a sick husband! Hope he feels better soon and little one escapes it.

    I bet the sick husband is harder than the baby! :-)  Good luck, hope you and LO stay healthy!

    Thanks everyone for your well wishes, it looks like it was just a 24 hour bug.  Everything was stripped down and thoroughly cleaned last night, so here is hoping we've lucked out on this one!  And yes, sick DH was like having an extra child!

    Glad he's feeling better! Did he have the stomach flu or influenza? Your daughter's flu shot covers influenza, NOT stomach flu. Just FYI for next time. Hope you and LO can stay healthy!!
