A little sad!

After today no more pumping breast milk. I tried going without my migraine meds after Garrett was born. I made it 10 days before I realized why I felt so crappy and had a headache since day 4. My hormones are straightening and leveling out so its only a matter of time before it becomes a full blown migraine. Back in meds I go.

I know formula is just as good though just a little bitter sweet

  • Don't be sad, you need to do what's best for both you and baby. I'm sure you have tried magnesium, but if you haven't....it works wonders for headaches, and my cousin who gets really bad migraines drank a magnesium drink during her pregnancy and while breastfeeding and it really helped her.

  • I am sorry. I agree with everyone who has said (in other posts) that you have to do what works for you, but I understand how you could be sad. I am still working on gettingn my milk in and I struggle with having to suppliment. I know it is what's best for my baby, but I just want more. The best thing for Garrett is a healthy happy mommy.
