mamas, I REALLY need shoe help!!!

DS has wide feet AND a high foot. He has two pairs of shoes that fit him. I've tried almost every brand and all price ranges. He has a wide size from payless that fit him well and another regular size sneaker from walmart (I thin)k that fit. I recently tried stride rite and they do not fit at all. Not even close- even extra wide. I'm running out of brands to try....any ideas? I don't care about cost- this boy need shoes!!

    I would say stride rite since my DS has a wide foot as well :( I hope you find something, sorry I'm no help!

    Have you tried See Kai Run shoes? No personal experience but they carry wide. I like the website www.tinysoles.com

    DS wear XW shoes. I took him to a specialty baby shoe store to get him fitted. Stride Rite has good options, as does Keen and See Kai Run.

    Thanks ladies, I'm going to the stride rite store friday to see if I'll have some luck, and I'll look into the brands mentioned.

    Sandals!  You can still get them before the end of the season and though many may cringe at the concept of socks with sandals, if his feet are that wide and you can't find anything else, that's the way to go!  Also, winter boots tend to be really big so for all practical purposes until winter you'd be covered with something that would work since many styles you can adjust them all the way (especially with birkenstocks)...

    YES! I had to take him to the stride rite store and just try on a bunch of different styles. The worker was very helpful. I ended up with 2- of course, the most expensive ones were the styles that fit, LOL. But I got a half size bigger so he could grow into them and ended up needing extra wide. This kiddo has HUGE feet!
