How long on Zantac ?

How long will acid reflux babies be on Zantac ... Obviously as long as they need to be but how long until they "grow out if reflux" normally?

    My son was on Prevacid til he was 10 months. We tried unsuccessfully to wean him off it earlier.

    My DD1 was 7 months when we weaned her off. DD2 doesn't seem to have it so far. (Thank goodness and fingers crossed.)

    Most people find the reflux improves after baby starts to eat solids at around 6 months.

    Our Pedi told us DD should grow out of it for 6 months, but we're keeping an open mind. If she still needs it after that, she still needs it.
