DS2 has his evaluation at CHOP tomorrow for the torticollis and plagiocephaly.. Hoping they say it's just mild and a few physical therapy sessions will. Be enough to fix it! We've been working with him all week to turn hissed left! Hoping it helps in his eval tomorrow! UPDATE: things went well. She was surprised by his range of motion, which is great. She said she'd consider him having mild torticollis, but the plagiocephaly is definitely in the moderate range. She said the good thing about that is that insurance will cover any gear we may need to help correct the plagio, where as if it was mild they would not. She said it looks to her that the plagio might even be causing the tort as opposed to the other way around.. We will be doing therapy every 2 weeks for the next few months and then switch to every week. Around 5 months he will be reevaluated and we will see a specialist to do some head scans, unless the therapy helps and by 5 months he drops into the mild range, then we could just continue therapy and monitor it. Overall, things went well.. All the exercises they showed us we've been doing, and all the tips/tricks on repositioning as well, so were on the right track at least! Thanks for all the well wishes!
