For the first time in my GD lyfe... And I have to give a speech.

Have any of you ladies ever had to make a speech at a wedding where you 1. Don't like the groom and 2. Are really sad/mad that this wedding is even happening???

It's my SIL's wedding and I'm really just at a loss for words. I'm a great bullshitter but for some reason I'm having a very difficult time manufacturing sentiment for this particular event...

In was told I'm not allowed to say "fuck."

I would just emphasis your love for you SIL. "I'm so happy you have found someone you love and makes you happy" etc...know what I mean?

Pretend you are giving the speech to one of us. Really sincere. She doesn't have to know you are giving a speech about someone else.

One that I heard that I have always liked is "May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future." I echo keeping it short and generic.
