flu shot for LO?

I have a 2 yr old and was planning to continue with the flu shot this season. Is it still strongly recommended at this age? At my DS's well visit over the summer they said we didnt need a well visit until age 3 and no mention of vaccines in between. I guess it is my responsibility to call and make this appt. Also, do you get one as a mom? I have for the past few years.

    Yes definitely recommended!  Call and find out, our office does a flu clinic.  You don't see the doctor or anything, just sign up for a time slot, arrive, get the shot and you are out the door.  Your LO may be eligible for the mist this year, if you are interested in that.  

    I have gotten a flu shot for the last 20 years, so even before I was a mom.  I just go to Walgreens, they have preservative free if you request it :)

    My son is the same age as your lo. Just as others said you wont see the Dr. Just come in, get the shot and go. But yes you are responsible for making this appointment and it is highly recommended. DS is getting his Thursday. I am also getting one too sometime soon. I haven't made an appointment yet.

    Yes your little one should get one! I didn't get one last year and ended up with the flu 3 times in 2 months! It was terrible and I don't wanna go through that again so I am getting mine!

    You should get a flu shot every year unless they come out with a universal vaccine

    She had hers at a flu clinic. We did the mist, so much easier. We got ours at Stop and Shop. I had a coupon for five dollars off.
