Just dropped off LO at daycare...

....for the first time. I don't start back to work until next Monday but wanted to do a couple trial runs this week. When I left and got back home, I felt like a little piece of me died on the inside!! Waaaaahhhhh!! :-(

And they have cameras at this daycare...so I logged in...and saw him and it was so sad! He's doing fine but gosh this is tough!!! :-(

I wish my day care had cameras.
I know it's really hard. It does get easier but I'm stilling more comfortable when she's home with DH on his days off while I'm at work.

It's hard. I did it last thursday and everyday has gotten better. Cameras help! Hang in there!

I went back to work this week. DH is in charge of taking E to and from day care. It's hard enough say goodbye to her at home. I'm so glad that I'm not the one dropping her off. DH emailed me in the morning to let me know how she is doing.

My hubby does dropoff too. Makes me less sad. She will actually be asleep when I go into work. Hoping that will make it easier.

Hang in there Mama! It was hard enough leaving DS at my mom's when I went back to work a couple of weeks ago, I can't imagine what it would be like leaving him at daycare. I keep my Flickr account with pictures of him open all day on my work computer. It helps. And it does get easier after a while, not that it helps right now!! Good luck, hopefully your day goes by fast!

Yup, I can log in at any time to see him. And you can look back all the way at the beginning of the day so if I don't have time to look at him while at work, I can come home and log in and look at different times of the day if I need to. (Not sure I"ll need to but nice that the option is there.) Also, the camera is just in the play area...not the kitchen or cribs but I'm ok with that.
