I've been hesitant to post anything about this the past few days in fear of jinxing myself, but I think it is finally safe to say it.
Last Friday, K was the only one at daycare (his class is only 5 babies on the days he goes) all day because everyone was out with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease. Apparently a little girl that only goes to daycare on the days K doesn't go originally came down with it and after that all the kids got it EXCEPT Kellen. I was paranoid all weekend that it would show up, but from what I have read about it, it only takes 24 hours after exposure to the disease to start showing symptoms, so I think we are in the clear. Today, 2 of the kids were back at daycare having gotten over the virus, but 3 kids are still out. They disinfected the entire room and bleached all the toys, so I am thinking and praying we are in the clear now.
Maybe my anti-germaphobia has actually been a blessing in disguise. Building immunities!
