holyhell I am out of shape

I just struggled through a "The Firm" DVD (circa 2004). 35 minutes of agony. But hey, it's a start, right? Hoping this will help with my stress... and my non fitting clothes.

    Talk to me about 30 day shred... do I need this DVD? I'm so much more of a gym person but I don't have the time or money right now

    OP, I feel ya. I started stroller strides today and was mortified by how difficult it was! But I am so glad I finally started.
  • Way to go! That's more motivation than I have. Though I have been intentionally taking Lex for walks using the Bjorn instead of her stroller so I can feel the burn. It's also much harder (read: embarrassing) to eat a mid-walk cookie when the crumbs keep falling on your child's head.

  • The good news is, if you were working out before, your body will bounce back quicker than you think....just keep it up for a week or two, and you'll feel better than if you've never worked out before.  Also, remember that weight loss is 20% exercise, and 80% nutrition.....that always makes me feel better if I miss a work out or don't feel like it was the best one. :)
