LO gnawing on crib

Does anyone else have a little baby beaver on their hands?  We've noticed some teeth marks in the wood, and some paint chips missing.  It's a brand-new crib, so I'm not terribly worried about toxic paint, but I don't like the idea of him eating paint.

    I think all babies do this. With dd i wrapped the bars with fleece and tied it like those tie blankets. At least this way i could make store she wasn't going to be pooping woodchips, lol!

    My brother gnawed completely through several of his crib slats when he was a baby. He lived to tell the tale ;)

    DS1 was a beaver on his crib (now DS2's) -- no issues there.  Except that I wish we had just bought a cheap crib instead of the expensive convertible type!

          DS1: Quinn - 10.22.10 and DS2: Cole - 01.18.13

    MIne is gnawing when he is standing in there waiting for you to come get him but he has no teeth yet so no damage yet lol
