Wanting #2

Anyone else geting the baby bug already.... I know DD is not even 8 months old but I would love to have #2 starting this summer....

DH is so freaked out byt this... with the economy and DD had pretty bad colic and reflux... so freaked out!

    I am definitely eager and can't wait! We aren't going to try until next Fall. My DH is also concerned about the economy and finances like your DH, but I am sure they will get over it! You don't have to be rich to have more than one kid. ; )

    We are going to start trying right around DS first birthday.  My DH would like to start now...not really trying, but not preventing.  I want to wait a few more months

    We are opposite of you guys. I am totally freaked out with the idea of having another one now and DH wants to try like ... yesterday! I think its more about the labor then anything. I had a terrible experience with DS and am in no rush to try that again. DH was close in age with his brother and sister's and I think thats why he wants our children close in age. I have a twin so I understand as well. We will probably try again by the end of next year.

    Honestly, sometimes. I had a horendous pregnancy, and DS had colic/reflux until he was like 3 months old...it was horrible. We can't TTC #2 until ds is in school full time (I get hyperemesis while pregnant, and couldn't care for him if he was home all day)..but sometimes I think I'd like to just get pregnancy over with and have another one. It's vicious being a woman sometimes!

    Yep.  I've already begun bugging DH about when we're going to start and we've been a little lax in bc.

    Yep totally have baby fever.  Saw one of my pregnant friends last week and she looked so cute and I totally was jealous.  We aren't really "trying" but we're not preventing either.  I'm nursing though and haven't gotten a period yet, so whenever that happens I guess I'll be getting pregnant!

    Yep, we're starting now. DH is 7 years older than me (38) and doesn't want to be 65 when his kids graduate from high school, so we are in kind of a hurry to have them since we want at least 3. Keeping my fingers crossed that my school district doesn't cut a bunch of teaching positions for next fall...

    I kept saying we were going to wait until DD is two, but recently I've gotten the bug SO bad!!!  I haven't told DH yet but I really want to start trying after DD's first birthday in January.  I miss being pregnant, GD and all.  And I didn't have siblings growing up so I really want that close relationship for my DD.

    I go back and forth. I do want another one and we have plans to start TTCing this spring (I'm 33 - no spring chicken, I don't want to wait too long). But then if DD has a bad day or night I change my mind!
