So I got back three days ago from an out of country vacation with my 6 month old. During the time we were away, we stayed in a couple of different hotels, and at relatives houses. Sometimes my LO was in a crib (which is what he sleeps in at home), sometimes in the bed. He adapted quite well, the only "off" sign was he was waking up frequently at night (he'd previously been a sttn baby).
Now that we're back home, he has consistently been waking up at 11:30 and 2:30 every night. Also, his happy go-lucky personality is off. He doesn't have nearly as much interest in his toys, his patience is very limited (he'll scream angrily/in frustration at the smallest thing), and he is very clingy. This is very much not the same guy I left with on vacation.
Is he just re-adjusting after being away so long? Could it be a growth spurt? Teething? Sick? All of the above?

I know no one can know for sure, but I guess what I'm wondering is, has anyone had a similar experience? Tell me about it and give me hope that this is just temporary!
Re: The After Vacation Baby
You're probably right about the crankiness. Hopefully he'll be back to "normal" as soon as our routine solidifies again.
In other moms experience, how long did the 6 month growth spurt/associates crankiness last?
