As I've posted, we have just finished redoing our kitchen. We couldn't live at home for 6 weeks and it was a total mess and we've only gotten things cleaned up this week. (There are a few odds and ends to finish, but nothing major.)
We had planned to repaint the living room during this renovation since we had to move some things out of there anyway. We've moved much of it back (the stuff that was in the kids' room) but still not everything.
We just found out that we can have the living room painted this week or next week for a really good price. It would take 2 days. It would mean that all the work we wanted to do in the near future would be done. Otherwise, we have to figure out a time to paint.
I'm due next week and have been having contractions that are not doing a ton for the past couple of weeks. Is it a really bad idea to just go ahead with the painting and hope that it really takes 2 days and won't create a ton of chaos?
The pros would be that we don't have to think about it anymore and the place will look really nice. The cons are that things won't be 100% settled for a little longer and that money will be a bit tight for a couple of weeks.
