Feel guilty complaining bc I love her dearly... That said, she is here for ten days..and 1. No really don't let my baby cry it out, I'm not ok with it 2. There is such a thing as being overstimulated, I'm not making it up 3. When my daughter is sweating I doubt she is cold and in need of socks 4. We have a huge sectional couch, let's not sit next to each other lol And this I just found funny.. She came downstairs from a nap and says oh you didn't have to turn down the tv for me, I said no it's bc baby was getting overtired ( just got her to sleep) so she sits next to me starts talking loudly and playing with lo's toes....agh

    I hear ya. My inlaws at least go home after a few hours. You're a saint to have them stay!
    The worst is the: good job letting her cry comment I got when I had to choose between comforting DD and peeing my pants in front of the inlaws. Also, MIL loves to change her diaper. And mysteriously every time DD comes back in a new outfit. That's getting old real fast. Especially when the clothes are not actually soiled. They just aren't the right texture or don't look girly enough. Ok MIL...

    This kind of reminds me of my MIL.

    yup. that's what she says. especially if DD is wearing a vintage outfit. Still very soft but, perhaps not as fluffy as some. She has sensitive skin so maybe she is assuming DD will inherit that from her...? It isn't like I dress her in burlap though. geesh MIL

    I feel for ya. My MIL watches DS all day and she says they just "play" all day. Well that's great except when I pick him up at 4:30 all he wants to do is sleep the rest of the day because he is so overly tired and then is wide awake at 4 am. Pretty sure if he cries she assumes he's hungry and that being overstimulated isn't the issue. Smh
