Just saw on Twitter that they're going to show an IVF fertilization live from St. Luke's in St. Louis this morning on the Today Show. I'm curious if they'll give the process and IVF explanation justice. Thought you all might want to watch!
MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    I watched it! It was interesting to see the ER and ICSI process, but it was making me nuts to hear them say "implant" instead of "transfer!" And, I did appreciate the doctor's quote, "The uterus is not a condominium."

    I saw it. The explanations were watered down. I thought they would have spent more time on infertility in general but they basically showed the procedure and that was it. I hope that that women gets pregnant as a result. FX for her!
