S Mpls Nanny Share or SAHM for Child Care Next March?

My husband and I are expecting our first child this December, and I've been told it's never to early to start looking for child care. We both work FT, but believe we will have some flexibility with our schedules once the baby is born. That said, our needs would likely be: 2 - 3 days/week for approximately 8 hours/day. Is anyone in the Mpls area looking to do a nanny share or perhaps know of a SAHM who is looking to take on another child or a nanny looking for 16 - 24 hours/week? Thanks!

    I wish you were looking sooner!! :-) I was a nanny for 13 years & am debating trying to find a family who'd allow me to bring my baby with to work..... Good luck with your search! I would check out care.com & if you want to use an agency, check with Nannies From the Heartland(I hear they are a bit pricey, but I found a few great families to work for through them)

    BabyBowers, are you still looking to nanny????  We are looking for 2days/wk and live in St Louis Park.  I would be open to allowing you to bring a child with as well.  We are looking to start end of January/begining of February.  Let me know if it works or you are intersted :)

    Nice! We are pretty close to settling on a daycare. We hadn't heard from anyone, so started looking at centers, in-homes, etc. but are still open to a nanny share. At this point, though, we're looking for FT, M-F, 6:30/7 a.m. - 3:30/4:00 p.m., although we could be somewhat flexible on timing. What kind of schedule are you looking to setup?
