Looking for a high end resort somewhere warm in December--to bring our little guy too-- that will give him some fun, but also be relaxing for us-- and with good food, nice rooms, nice amenities, good service. What are the golden stars in the Carribbean? Mexico? Want to avoid "kid" centered resorts that are really for older kids and where the food is mediocre,

I was just looking into this recently and I think we're going to try one of the Karisma resorts in Mexico. There are quite a few locations and most of the reviews on trip advisor seem to be really good. We were specifically looking at the Azul Beach.

I have not personally been here but it looks like a high end all-inclusive hotel with great amenities PLUS great kid amenities!

We went to Now Jade outside of Cancun for a wedding in May. Didn't take DS, but there were plenty of families there, yet it wasn't so kid oriented that we felt weird not having our kids there.

We are going to nuevo vallarta puerto vallarta staying at paradise village the rooms are mini apt there is a small zoo looks nice we have a 18 month old and 3 year old at the time
