San Jose/Sunnyvale OBGYN Recommendations?

Hello all,

We just found out this morning that we are pregnant with #2! Yay!!

Our first OB was just okay, so I am looking to switch to another one. However, I had an amazing experience at Good Sam Hospital in San Jose. We live in Sunnyvale, and although I am willing to drive a bit to get to a doctor, I'd rather one not too far.

Do any of you have any recommendations for a great OB who will deliver at Good Sam but is in the Sunnyvale area? Typically the Sunnyvale docs deliver at El Camino, and although I've heard good things about El Camino, I rather go with what I know.

Mine is Dr. Elizabeth Wu. She's fantastic. She's across from Good Sam and actually delivered my primary dr's kids too.

I like mine. He is the Chair of the department and was recommended to me by my favorite OB from Santa Cruz. He has a dry humor and a warm personality. DH really likes him too.

I haven't delivered with her yet, but I am very happy with Hanh Hoang at south Bay OBGYN. Her office is actually next to Valley Regional Medical but she has privileges at Good Sam, which is where I will be delivering in July, all being well. She's not cut-happy but she's still cautious. Happy with her so far.

I use PAMFs Dr. Hung Ecklund in Sunnyvale/ old sf road who I researched like crazy and picked out last summer. Met her in March during preconception meeting and love her. However I just had a terrible experience with hrr covering physician, PAMFs Dr. Hector Medina, after hours. We are 6 weeks and I called to ask whether it's safe to keep my trip to visit family when a couple of them have been vomiting. He told me my pregnancy isn't diagnosed yet so it might not even be viable. needless to say I will never let that man anywhere near my baby or me. Am thinking of leaving pamf - don't want to risk having him at the delivery. Stay away from Dr medina!

I'm a patient of Dr. White, and I LOVE her. She's super popular, though so call now.

THIS! I LOVE Karen! She took care of me during all three pregnancies.
