I'm 33w4d and baby is measuring 34w5d and they are saying she is already 5lbs 14oz the tech said don't be surprised if she is a 9lb baby! I want a healthy baby but not a big baby. My DS was 9lbs 11oz at birth!
I loved having a chunky baby but he never got to wear the cute little clothes and this time around I'm having a girl so I hope she is just a little bit smaller then my other!!!! I'm only 5'3" and starting weight 120 so I'm not a very big person but my body loves to have big babies!!!!!
DD was 9 lbs 1 oz--yay for the not so teeny tiny newborns!
ETA: @schuh1985 me too--I'm only 5 feet tall and everyone was shocked at how big DD was. And they're thinking DS is going to be pretty big too! I know a girl who is nearly 6 feet tall and delivered a little peanut. I guess our height doesn't matter one bit!
I had mine today too, but the tech wouldn't give me details - I have to wait for my Dr. appt on Wed. She did confuse me by telling me that my due date they show is tomorrow - ummmm no, it's supposedly Oct. 2nd....hmmm. Oh we'll, baby will come when he's ready.
I know a lot a bigger or tall girls that have tiny little babies and then little people like us have huge babies it's weird!!!! It's like the little man syndrome. Our bodies think we are bigger then we really are!!!!
I'm 5 ft tall and I look huge but after having the growth scan found out the baby is in the 45th percentile. Then the midwife said I have child bearing hips and shouldn't have a problem delivering a big baby. What?!
Had a quick U/S last week and my doc said "oh look she already has chubby cheeks". DD was 8lb 15oz, born at 39 weeks. My doc says this one is measuring larger! Love me some chunky babies, as long as she fits out my vag!

Don't be afraid of their estimates. They are often off by a few pounds. That being said, my daughter was 8 lbs 11.5 ounces. She was a little chunky thing. However, she still came out vaginally and everything was fine. Sometimes bigger babies are nice because they don't feel as fragile when you are holding them!
