  I don't have that book, but I always loved it as a kid. People who find it creepy are just over-thinking it. I always read it as what the mom would want to do, not what she actually does...what mom doesn't think of her kids has her "babies" forever and ever??

  I was totally in the creeped out boat before. I read it as the mom literally would crawl into her grown sons window in the middle of the night...mama's boy/helicopter mom taken to a whole new level!

  I will think of it differently now.

  We don't have it, and I've never read it to Bella. The book always made me feel sad as a kid and I didn't like it. Now I know why it made me sad... I think it has a sweet story behind it, but still sad.

  I love this book! I cry when I read it but it's so beautiful. Between birthday and Christmas Appleseed now has 2 copies. I'll get one signed I think, he goes to the Guelph Public library from time to time.

  @SpringMomv2 I do the same thing! Every single night before going to bed myself I go into C's room to
  Give her an am extra kids and I love you. Also I usually have to reposition.or cover her with the blanket again since she roams all over her bed while she sleeps. I will go in the MOTN too if I've been up to nurse or check on O.
