Irresponsible moms

So the moms of the kids that stole my credit cards, ID, CTA card and phone got stolen at the park last weekend spent $633 at beauty place down the street that only sells wigs and weaves.

I let it go that I my stuff got stolen but now I am pissed that the 4 moms that had 10-15 kids between them decided to purchase totally unnecessary items for them, rather than food or diapers for their kids with the stolen cards.  DH is ready to camp out at the park and watch for these people at the park.

    This. Don't you get reimbursed or something since it was stolen?
    I agree it's so awful that they used it or themselves and not their kids. Karma will come and bite them hard one day.

    I personally would have been peeved even if that had spent it on the kids. There are programs out there that can assist with costs/expenses for the children. Stealing, isn't the way to go. Secondly, that really goes to show their mindset and they probably aren't fit to have children.

    Any chance a poor kid's teen sister needed a weave? I just don't want to think of a world where a mom finds a credit card on her kid and thinks "hot damn, time to get my hair did!" I hope you found out through fraud detection on your card and they stopped the transaction.

    I don't know what hope those kids have with such selfish mothers. That's so frustrating. I hope karma catches up with them and the chemicals the salon used make their hair fall out.

    Maybe they stole someone else's credit cards for the necessities.

    I seriously hope you don't get stuck paying. Did you file a police report?

    Maybe they bought a bunch and are planning on selling themselves. So sorry I hope the cc company or your bank is protecting you.

    Yea, let me tell you @BPaws, the black girls I work with pay $300+ every 4-6 WEEKS to have their hair done. They usually pay $200 for the hair and $100+ to get it sewn in. Crazy.

    @Maizey06, I hope you're reimbursed quickly! It's obviously an odd purchase on your account, so the CC companies shouldn't give you a hassle about refunding the amounts they spent. Unfortunately, this has happened to me TWICE, both when I was pregnant...and my bank was speedy in recovering the funds to me!

    Luckily I do not have to pay the charges.  It is more the principle that really makes me mad. What kind of values are these moms teaching their kids.
