MIL visits (RANT)

Dear god I am about ready to kill this woman.

DS and I are sick with colds, nothing honestly terrible, just stuffy heads and sore throats.

She called up this morning, knowing that we are sick, and wants H to bring the baby to her so she can have her visit time and feel better because one of her six cats didn't come home last night. -_- This is not the first time this cat hasn't come home. This isn't the first time she has used our son as her "pick me up" when something isn't going her way. This is also not the first time I've gotten irritated with it. Maybe it is because I am sick too, but this time I'm seriously mad about it. I don't think DS should go anywhere except possible the doctor's office until he is better, and to hell with grandma needing a "pick me up", pick your own d*mn self up.

Sorry for the rant, I just needed to say that.

I would so keep baby home, he'll probably get her sick anyway. And mama needs the baby cuddles more

AND, if she wants to see him that bad, she can drag her ass over to your house (and bring you dinner and throw in a load of laundry).

HA! Thanks for that, I needed the support and the laugh! We ended up not taking LO over simply because he is too sick. I am starting to feel better, but he is still really congested and now the DH has it too. Rough week ahead for us!
