  Today i'm 17weeks. WOOT WOOT!! I am just now coming to the realization that we're having twins. Not only that, but we know they're boys! Found out on Friday.

  Friday was my "Big Day" appointment with the MFM. We got the full run on tests, AFI and Growth scans to start and Baby "A" has grown and closed the growth gap. I'm amazed! He was measuring close to 20% difference from Baby B, but now the difference is 9%. Fluid was perfect, dock into the placenta shows they are both in good spots, and may even have an equal share!!!

  I am so relieved, I sit down and enjoy my belly and love it. Before, I was so afraid they were going to be taken away from me.

  Another awesome thing, I've already hit my out of pocket max for my insurance. So, until the boys come everything is FREEZIES!!!

  Hi!  I'm 28 weeks now.  For the most part I am enjoying all of the movements and activity that I feel, and am amazed when I look down and see my shirt moving because they are so active, however I'm not too pleased when little Nemo (Baby A) kicks my bladder, which is almost constant for 30 minutes when he's kicking.  I love the movement, don't get me wrong, just wish he'd pick some other area to focus on.

  My backache is getting worse every day.  It was to a point that it was better on the weekends, but this past weekend I spent most of my time laying on the floor.  We have our 28 week apt. with our OB this coming Friday and I'll mention it to her.  I really just don't know what to do.  I don't want to take pain meds at all and haven't found anything that works yet.  I am not a crier, but many days that's all I want to do.  It's so frustrating but I'll gladly take it if it means my boys are going to come out healthy and happy.

  Mine were named by my son, and they are "Mike and Sully" after Monsters Inc. Mike is Baby "A" and "B" is Sully.

  25 weeks here and doing well. Just found out that I passed my glucose test, which is a huge relief because diabetes runs rampant in my family. We got the nursery painted over the weekend and attempted to get maternity pictures taken but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. I think she got a few good shots before the rain came but hopefully we can reschedule.

  
  

  Had a MFM appointment on Friday and both babies are doing well. Baby B (nicknamed Luke by DH) is in the 43rd percentile in terms of grown and Baby A (nicknamed Leia by DH - yeah, he is a dorky Star Wars fan) is in the 39th percentile. At first I was a little upset because I am so used to looking at percentile in terms of grades where 100 percent is what you strive for. However, my doctor explained that 50 percent is average for all babies and with twins it is normal to be a bit below that. Hopefully, he wasn't just saying that to make me feel better.

  BFP #1 on 12/15/11 but missed m/c with d&c on 2/1/12.

  BFP #2 on 5/1/13 = boy/girl TWINS with EDD of 1/3/14 but expected no later than 12/20/13.

  @babywillmake3  Nope, one of our little guys appears to have a slight club foot which will be taken care of once he's out.  I got really sick of saying "Baby A and Baby B" because it sounded so generic and they definitely have their own personalities already.  So, since in the movie "Finding Nemo", Nemo had a little fin (but still did wonderful and had no problems) we decided to name that baby Nemo, and his brother Squirt (the baby turtle in Finding Nemo).  Whichever baby is delivered first will be named Elijah, the second will be Gabriel. 

  Funny how we both went with Disney/Pixar movies!

  27w1d. Counting down to the 28 week milestone. I also passed the glucose test. On modified bedrest but feel great. I took DD to her Super Sibling class at the hospital on Saturday and she had a blast. The class also included a hospital tour. The L&D and post partum floors were both remodeled in the last year and the rooms are huge.

  We haven't given them nicknames, we call them by their real names Nicole and Harper.

  20w5d today!  I am doing well and feel good - definitely look pregnant but not huge either.  I have an OB appt this week and next week is the start of my bi-weekly monitoring at the MFM to check on the babies and my cervix.  Everything has been looking good so I really hope it stays that way as long as possible.   We are busy getting the nursery cleared out and my Mom is over today painting the room for us.   I still can't believe we are going to have two babies in our lives soon enough! 
  
  My husband has taken to calling the babies 'bippity bop' and 'boppity boop' - but we now sometimes just call them by their 'real' names (which we are not sharing until birth!)

  I am now 26 weeks and 2 days.  We haven't given our boys nicknames that have stuck. Besides, I have kind of gotten attached to "A" and "B"!  We have picked out names but we will wait until they are born to see what baby fits with what name.

  I am been so lucky so far having a pretty easy pregnancy but last week we had a bit of bad news.  My cervix is now 2.2 cm.  I am now having transvaginal US weekly.  I had a FFN test this morning but haven't gotten the results yet.  Also, I failed my 1 hour glucose test, which was very surprising since I have no risk factors.  I went for my 3 hour test Friday morning and am waiting for those results too.

  The boys are perfect though - 1 lb 14 oz and 1 lb 15 oz at 25 weeks (41% and 40%, respectively) so I am thrilled at that!  Plus, I actually still feel pretty good!

  For now I don't have any restrictions or limitations and pending the results of the FFN, I will not have any treatment until (if) my cervix goes below 2 cm.  We are just giving the boys pep talks that they have to keep put for at least another 10 weeks.  Of course my goal is to make it to mid-December, but that seems like a very far off place right now!

  Two healthy boys weighing 4 lbs 15 ozs and 4 lbs 5 ozs.  Only 6 days in the NICU and getting bigger, stronger and cuter every day!

  32w 6d with b/g twins. I've been on hospital bedrest for 9 weeks with a shortened cervix and contractions. They are letting me go home tomorrow to continue bed rest there - hooray!! I am looking forward to getting some better rest at home! Hopefully I will get to our scheduled C section on 10/24.
  
  I call my little girl "McRib" because she has wedged her butt under my right ribs. Little boy has wedged himself breech in my pelvis. I usually call them Little girl or Little boy or by their names.

  Hi MoMs! 16 weeks with modi twins. First anatomy scan in 3 weeks. Cannot wait. GTKY question: we call them stymie and petunia. They're identical and we know they'll be the same gender but we call them that anyways. We have four names picked depending on what we learn in a few weeks.
  
  On a sad note (loss mentioned): just need to vent. My best friend miscarried today. She was 6 weeks. I feel so broken for her. We were so excited. I feel like I don't even want her to see me or even think about me right now but I want to be there for her so bad. Trying to be happy about my babies but mourning the loss of hers. Any advice?

  22.5 weeks with di/di team green babies

  
  

  Doing so good - I was having some tightening in my lower abdomen last week that I thought was Braxton Hicks, but it turned out to be a UTI. I am being treated now, and finding that a lot of other pains I was having are also going away - sore sides and difficulty bending over - so I feel SO much better. The tummy seems big though, but if that means the babies are growing then great.

  
  

  I was cleared to go to Boston this Friday and am so excited!! My friend is getting married, so I will get to attend her wedding. DH and I went to college in Boston (before we knew each other and met in CA) so it is always fun to go back and explore together. 

  
  

  GTKY - When it was 1 baby, we called it the nugget. Once it became 2, we thought we should come up with a second name, but it became the nuggets. Now its "the nuggs." I sometimes call A "Jake" and B "Lex" (their boy names) even though we don't know if they are boys. We aren't settled on girl names (just one, Josephine), and I have a feeling they are boys.

  This happened to me as well - if you search online, there are some good emails to send that say things like "I understand you need space, and maybe seeing me would be hard, but just know I am there for you whenever you need me" etc. Check out some samples at Alphamom - great stuff!

  27 weeks on Wednesday! Spent the past week on HBR for dilation and short cervix and baby A is at a -1 station but all is well and babies are still in there! We have suspected IUGR that will be either confirmed or denied next week. Their heart rates and everything look great though they are just not growing as we hoped. DH ordered our mamaroos an the infant bath tub off of 4moms and the nursery is coming together nicely! We are waiting on the cribs but other than the car seats we are good to go as soon as the nursery is done which makes me excited! Unless of course we decide to go cloths shopping for the boys nesting is kicking my butt I feel like I have a billion things to do and no time to do it especially on bed rest! But it's officially fall so I have been kicking my feet up enjoying cups of hot apple cider on the cool mornings. Just taking it day by day and trying my best to keep them in as long as possible! GTKY: no nicknames for the boys we just call them by their names Cayden and Colton

  I am 16 weeks 1 day today!

   

  Last week we had a scare with some pretty intense pains that sent me to the doctor and got us an unexpected ultrasound. Thankfully everything is looking good with the babies and with me. They still are unsure what was causing the pains. But as long as everything is okay, that is all that matters!

  With that ultrasound came knowing one of the sexes!!! The other twin wouldn't cooperate. As weird as it may sound I have had correct intuitions this whole pregnancy. I knew I was pregnant before the test and knew there were two before the first ultrasound. I have guessed we are having boy/girl twins and am guessing the one of the left is the girl. I am hoping to see if my intuitions on the sexes are also right!

  We have our a/s in a week and I am very excited!!! I can't wait to see them again and I am hoping they both cooperate.

  At first we called the baby "Billy" before we had confirmation that there was two. Now they really don't have names at all.

  20 weeks last week. Time is flying! We have a follow up ultrasound on Wednesday since baby boy was being difficult!

  TTC since May 2010. DX Unexplained IF. IUI #1 in August 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #2 in September 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #3 in October 2012. BFN. IVF in April/May 2013. BFP with b/g twins! Due February 2, 2014. Thank you God!

  30w3d today. Hard to believe! I had an OB appointment today and the nurse used the u/s instead of the doppler to find the heartbeats, so I got to see my guys. Baby B is still head down, Baby A still breech. I have another u/s in two weeks so hoping/praying that the little guy flips the right direction!

  
  

  I am pretty uncomfortable--hip pain, back pain, etc. We moved this weekend and that was a lot to deal with, as is unpacking and organizing things now while taking care of a toddler. I have to move around a lot when all I want to do is chill on the couch. But the sooner I get things unpacked, the sooner I can get ready for these babies ... tomorrow we are having a new washing machine delivered so I can start sorting through the newborn clothes.

  34w2d today. Both babies are breech, so a c-section has been scheduled for 10/18. I'm hanging in there, which is good because I'm still working and there's a little more left to do on the nursery. We usually say baby A and baby B or baby girl and baby boy. We just agreed on the girl's name yesterday, so it didn't seem fair to call the boy by his name and the girl "baby A."

  11w3d today and had two ultrasounds today - one with RE and first appointment with OB. Everything looks good so far.

   

  We don't really have nicknames other than to refer to them as the kids or the people. DH sat on my lap jokingly the other day and said, can we fit 4 people in this chair? I also told him that we were now distributing the pillows on the bed according to how many people were on each side and since he's outnumbered 3:1 he needs to surrender some of the pillows from his side for the rest of us on the other side

  16w3d here. Tomorrow I finally have my first OB appointment since finding out there's two in there. I'm excited to finally get to ask all of my questions and getting to hear heartbeats on the Doppler (or ultrasound if they're not cooperative ). Otherwise things seem to be going well so far.
  
  We don't have nicknames for the babies yet, which makes me a little sad. For DS we were team green and combined our boy and girl names to get Muke (like Luke). It was fun to have a name. We're team green again so it might be hard to combine 4 names . Hopefully we'll come up with something soon!

  21 weeks today with mono/di boys... my anxiety has skyrocketed and i'm right back to worrying will they actually be coming home with me one day.  i will feel much better after 24 weeks, then after 32.  i feel like i'm always counting down to something and unable to actually enjoy the pregnancy.  having all sorts of what if's and hypochondria with any symptoms i am having as well.  if i walk too much, i have tightening and i freak out.  if i'm laying down and don't feel them so often, i freak out.  sorry to be a debbie downer, i'm just having a rough few days with the amount of worry.  

  
  

  on a happier note, we planned my shower for november 16th which would put me about 28 weeks i think.  hopefully still going to feel good enough to be able to put all the stuff away and get it ready.  my belly is getting uncomfortably big and hurts when i press on it so i'm wondering if it's just normal aches and pains or if something is going on?  i have my next growth ultrasound a week from today thank goodness so get to see if these little guys are getting bigger.  

  Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 

  Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  

  Clomid + Trigger x2; 

  IUI + Femara x1,

  IUI + Follistim x2;

  IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.

  IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life.

  20 weeks & starting to feel a lot of pelvic pain when I walk to much so I am trying to remind myself to slow down. Both babies are moving like crazy lately which is great since I couldn't feel baby B as much. Looking forward to my next scan which was pushed back a week. boo.

   

  We don't have nicknames for the boys yet & DS just refers to them as "his babies".

  25 weeks tomorrow! Yay. We never gave them nicknames but we did recently decide on names, they're Hadley Fey and Jameson Wyatt.   My due date is April 11.  We found out we were having twins 3 weeks ago and I am still processing, but also getting very excited!  I had an appointment last week and the doc was able to pick both little heartbeats up with the Doppler.  That was so wonderful to hear!
  
  We were referring to what we *thought* was one baby as "Speck".  So 3 weeks ago that became "Speck A" and "Speck B".  We will be staying Team Green with this pregnancy, so those nicknames will likely stick until delivery!

  Hello everyone!  I am 11weeks 5 days and getting excited to hit the 12 week mark!   We have an appt and ultrasound scheduled for Thursday this week and I am beyond excited and ready to see if both of them are still doing okay!   I bought a home fetal heart doppler and I am getting  a nice strong heart beat but dont know if I am picking them both up!  But it is the best thing to hear when I get worried!  
  We dont really have any nicknames.  We  both are still at the point where we are scared to become to attached because we are afraid of losing them. We just refer to them as the babies!

  27 weeks 1day!!! Little girls are growing like crazy, baby A 2.2lbs baby B 2.6 lbs. today at the growth US they did some 3D profiles seeing their little faces made this all feel very real and exciting baby showers the next two weekends, SO fun! My cervix is holding up at 3.2 and I'm now on medication for the contractions I had been experiencing often. It has helped a lot. Other than that I'm just feeling big, really excited and a little scared about the next few months.

  I'm now in my 18th week and we found out last Thursday that we are expecting 2 girls! Our house will be filled with pink, as we already have daughters ages 4 and 15 months! Everything looked great at our first MFM appt but they were unable to get a good check on nasal cavities and hearts, so hopefully I'll get the "all clear" at my next appointment.
  
  Nicknames for babies are: oopsy and daisy privately. And my 4yo calls them Sprinkle and Sparkle. :-)

  19 weeks and 5 days with mono/di girls! Monday is my first appt. with my MFM. So far their measurements have been pretty close but it's also been almost a month since my last US. Super nervous/excited to see my girls. I will be glad when it's Tuesday

  I am 16 weeks and slowly moving along. I am starting to get my second tri wind back and hope it continues. I don't have my a/s until the very last day possible which is disappointed as I won't to ensure everything is good and I am dying- I mean dying- to know what we are having. Only 4 more weeks :sigh: Forgot to answer the question but no names...just A and B...very original!

  Update: We are no longer expecting parents of twins, as of Thursday of last week, we are now the proud parents, of two adorable little twin girls!  Evelyn Rae was born at 12:57 pm at 5 lbs 1 oz and Jocelyn Freya was born at 12:59 at 5 lbs 0oz,both 17 inches long.  We had no NICU time and they were o only in the warmer for one hour and then back to me.  The first week has been crazy but we are all healthy and doing well.  The c section was much easier than I thought it would be.  I am so thankful for an easy surgery and healthy babies.  When we finally slow down I will put up pictures.
