Rock n Play Sleeper=Happy Mom and Happy Baby

I swear this thing is amazing. My LO needs to be swaddled when sleeping in her snuggle nest co sleeper...but she sleeps perfectly in the rock n play. It cuddles her and makes her feel safe like swaddling does. PLUS it is perfect for putting her in while I'm in the kitchen cooking.

I realize many of you may already know of this lovely thing....but for those who don't or for those who wanted to know why it's so fabulous, I figured I would create a post

I was considering this too. Ds sleeps great in his crib at night and usually naps in his swing or bouncy chair during the day.

I would think it would still be good. You can use it up to 25 pounds.

We love ours too. Since using it DD has slept better and most of the time I can put her to bed drowsy but awake and she will fall asleep on her own without rocking or help.

Our DS is 2 months and he loves it. He's been sleeping in there since day 1. Usually when he wakes up at 6:30am for a feeding I take him out and let him sleep on our bed while I'm getting ready for work. I feel like he should stretch out a little since the RnP scrunches them up.

I totally agree! The Rock n Play rocks! We actually transitioned LO from sleeping in his crib to the rock n play so he wouldn't throw up as much. It's worked great on that issue, and he also sleeps for longer stretches in it and prefers it for naps.

We bought is for my first DS when he was 2 months old and he slept so much better in it. We kept him in it for naps and bed until he was about 4.5 months then transitioned to crib. We will prob use it for #2 as well!

I ordered the rock n play after reading all of the reviews about it on amazon. I wanted something portable to have upstairs so I didn't have to carry the mamaroo up the stairs after having a c-section. I figured if she hated it, it wasn't very expensive. She absolutely loves it so far! Even more than the mamaroo. Hope your LO enjoys it as much as ours does.

I love the Rock and Play and was using it for DS to sleep at night until I started researching babies sleeping in the Rock and Play. You can Google it, but there's some argument not to let your LO sleep in it overnight. I asked our pediatrician's office, and they said the same thing - not to keep your LO in it for longer than 1-2 hours at a time. They said it's a suffocation and SIDS risk because of how they're scrunched up in it and their airways aren't open.
