First owie :(

DS fell down and hit his mouth on the tile floor today. He immediately sobbed hysterically and I put pressure on his mouth to stop the bleeding, neither of which lasted long (the crying or the bleeding). I was worried he damaged his tooth or something, but I found a little cut on his lip so I think that's the extent of the damage. He ate his entire breakfast and most of mine, and chewed on his toys all morning, so I think he's fine. The nurse didn't think he needed to come in since he didn't fall from very high.

I had to get stitches on my face when I was a kid, and when we got home my mom downed an entire glass of wine like it was water. I get it now! Too bad I'm pregnant, I have to drown my sorrows in ginger ale.

    I know right?? All he wanted to do was suck his thumb and cuddle against me. Heartbreaking!

    Aww poor kid. That's the worst! At least you got some snuggles, right? Hard to look at a bright side in such a sad moment. Glad he's feeling better!

    This is so true. Same when he's sick or teething - mama is better than any medicine. I know DH feels bad that he can't help more when those things happen because DS only wants me.

    Wow!  I guess today is not a good day for boo boos!  As you have probably seen, Chloe fell of the bed this morning for the first time.  I hope your little guy feels better.  I remember when this happened to Chloe about a month ago and thank goodness little mouths heal quick!

    @ashleynaka - Hopefully they've each gotten the boo boos out of the way for a while!
