Wedding rings

My rings and watch are so tight today! They can come on and off with a little effort, but are leaving dents in my skin.

Not sure how much longer they're going to stay on. I'm afraid I will put them on and never get them back off! I do take them off for bed, so I guess I will just keep doing a daily evaluation.

Anyone given up on rings already?

ETA Word... tight, not right

I had to give mine up months ago - but I like to wear mine tight to begin with.  Had to ditch the real thing and bought a fakie at Target.

I've given up. I have a cheap set that I wear for travel and is a half size bigger. I've been wearing the wedding ring from that set so my finger doesn't feel quite as naket.

I gave mine up last week when my skin decided all the sudden I was allergic or something to the metal. I got a huge welt that was red and puffy and my skin ended up like peeling off there. I think that was more than a hint to put it away till after LO is here. Bizarre!

i had to take mine off awhile ago as well.  I keep them snug b/c my hands naturally go through a big size swing over the course of the year (loose in winter, fit in summer).
I just unpacked my jewelry box from our move 2 months ago, and tried my ering on just to see.  nowhere near to getting over my knuckle.  it made DH sad, and he mentioned that one of the new neighbors asked if we were married.  It really bothered him.  but we live in a progressive area, and I personally have learned not to assume.  I wear a ring on my left hand, but it's obviously not a wedding band.

I'm about to.  It was about now that I did last time also.  I had another ring that I wore in it's place that was bigger so it lasted until my others fit.

I haven't worn mine in a few weeks because I get panicked if they are too tight to take off. I don't feel like I look swollen but I guess I am!

Yup, I've been wearing a fake diamond ring for the last 3 months. The oddest thing to me is that after DD1 arrived, it still took me months (like 6!) before I could wear my real wedding ring again. Sigh.

Mine came off when I was like 16 weeks! Wore my grandpas wedding band for a while so I looked married. That came off a month ago because it was too tight. Now every time my husband and I go out he jokes that I'm the "knocked up mistress" because he has a wedding ring and I don't lol. Thanks hun..

I gave mine up on Friday. It was sad. They could still be put on and off, but were definitely tighter. Some days they were still loose, but I didn't want to take any chances. I have another band that is bigger that I'm wearing, and that is still too big, but it works.

I had to give my ring up at about 14 weeks. I miss wearing it. It's beautiful and I feel like a piece of me is missing... I try to wear it every once in a while. Usually I'm okay in the morning but as soon as I have lunch, I have to take it off.

This is what I had to do.  I bought a band at kohls and now I am wearing that.  I went to L&D last week with some pain and they tried to get my ring off and couldnt so they were going to cut it.  I freaked out and DH was able to get it off.  I would take them off,  You dont want them cutting them

I've had mine off for awhile, with the heat this summer it was really hard to get them off at night. I didn't want to take any chances and have to have my wedding rings cut off, so they're put away in a safe place for now.
