I was not a fan of how things ended. I'm not sure what I had in mind, but it wasn't that.

Yeah I agree. I like that everything was completed but how it got there I wasn't a fan of!

Spoiler alert...........don't read if you haven't seen it yet....... I think it was so ridiculous how he took Deb right out the door of the hospital and put her on his boat. I live in south Florida and there are no hospitals with a dock right there. That was just so corny and stupid. And the whole logger thing? Cripes that was dumb. Besides the cheesiness of this last episode, I loved the whole series!

I think I actually preferred the finale of Sopranos better.
Dexter just seemed so thrown together. The thing with Deb pissed me off. She should've gone out in a blaze of glory.
Honestly, I think it should've ended with Dexter either dead or in prison.
I'm not a happy camper. Not at all.

And the whole lumberjack thing...give me a break.

I was telling DH that I feel like I don't have closure. I know that's a little dramatic for a tv series, but we've been following it since day one. This one will take a little time to sink in (if it ever does). Arg...

Ugh yeah, very disappointing! Like OP said, I really didn't have an ending in mind and have no idea how I would have ended it, but that was just weird and not cool!

We were super disappointed. It definitely felt like this entire season was tossed together quickly. And why give us so much backstory on Dexter/Dr. Vogal if her purpose was not to, in some way, out Dexter for who he truly was? That's what I was expecting -- all of her notes, videos, and backstory on his past seemed like it was placed there in the show as a way to pin Dex to the wall. Instead, she dies; Deb dies; Harrison runs off with some crazy bitch we only met a season or two ago... Just seems completely sloppy.

Breaking Bad will deliver, though; of that I am sure.

Series finales are rough, so few make anyone happy.

For every great MASH or Six Feet Under ending there is stuff like LOST, Sopranos, etc.

Kill Dexter and the franchise dies, no biz executive wants that

Have it end with him being arrested and folks will complain they didn't get to see what happened after the arrest. Reaction of co-workers, etc.

I liked that he buried Deb like he did his victims because in the end he felt as if she was a Dexter victim. Not going to his son is because he wanted to protect him.

As for Oregon, makes sense when you think its pretty much as far away from Miami as you can get (while staying in continental 48). Also if you've ever visited Oregon you know how empty it is. Scenic for sure but very empty

I was a little disappointed too. I thought maybe Dexter would be murdered and Harrison left in all the blood as the show starter with Dex as a kid. Idk, SOMETHING! The whole logger thing was random.

No one is going to ask what heppend to Deb's body?

CPS is not going to look for Harrison?

When Elway wakes up he knows where Hannah is going and that she has Harrison and that they are going to South America, obviously he is going to go looking for her!

Really Hannah? You can't at least dye your hair or wear a hat or something to hide who you are?

I am just so dissappointed! If they kill off Jesse in Breaking Bad next week I will seriously just give up on investing in shows!

Right???!?!!! I have been screaming this for the past few episodes. Come on... make it a little less obvious.

This. It was driving me F'ing crazy! Sunglasses and Clairol would help avoid a whole lot of this crap.
