DS's party was Sunday. I had two people text me before the party (that was at 2pm) "are you having food?".
Then, I brought the leftover cupcakes to work today so they wouldn't be at home begging me to eat them and some random stranger asked me on my way in if could they have one. Ummm, sure.
I would never do either of these two things. Anyone else have some WTF moments they'd like to share?
Re: The nerve of some people.
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
Nancy James 9.1.12
Calvin Donald 8.27.14
I personally wouldn't do either of those things, but I also wouldn't be too bothered if someone else did. Sure, it's a little weird but not too bad.
My WTF: I went to get bagel and coffee from Panera yesterday, while carrying W the whole time. I manage to pay and get my stuff all with one hand, no big deal. But as I'm walking out with my arms/ hands completely full, this guy chases me down to tell me I dropped some change by the register. He wasn't bringing it to me, he expected me to go back and pick it up. Seriously??? Sure, let me drop my kid, my food, and my purse and crawl around looking for my lost pennies. Get a life, guy. I just stared at him in disbelief and said "Uh, you can keep it."
Also, I would not think it's that weird for someone in the same building to ask if they could have a cupcake. When you work in the same building even if you don't know each other you kind of just have an unspoken connection.
I, personally, wouldn't ask a stranger for food, but that's just me.
