Birthday Present for 2-year old Boy

DS is turning two this weekend and I am having a terrible time finding a gift that I think he would like. He is into music and puzzles, basically anything that makes noise or that he can sit and analyze. I've been looking for weeks and just haven't seen anything that I think he will love.

Any recommendations?

Not music related but some toys that my 3yr old and 1.5yr old both enjoy are- trains, trucks, play kitchen, duplos, tricycle, sandbox.

Things that have been a big hit with my 2 year old:

Toddler-sized table and chairs where she can sit and color

Tricycle

Toddler-sized basketball hoop and ball

A "big kid" bed

Thomas trains and wooden track set

Musical instruments

A play "garage" with cars and trucks

We'd been looking at them for a while, so when we saw it for 1/2 the price of what it is selling on Amazon for we snapped it up over the summer and have been hanging on to it to give as a b-day gift.

I've been looking at these too because I think he would really like it, but the price is so high. They do seem well-made and like they would last a long time so it might be worth it.

We have a similar one called zany zoo from target, it was less expensive than this one.

Favorites for 2.5 yo DS are Lego duplos (specifically the Jake and the Neverland Pirates ship) and play food (which he loved before we had a kitchen, which he also loves).
