So proud of my furbaby!

So today, while I took the baby on a stroll around the park with my shepherd, my irresponsible neighbors had 3 dogs off lead which proceeded to rush/ act aggressively toward me and my dog. They grabbed their large dog and yorkie, but they had a puggle that totally went after my sheperd. He calmly sat when to,d and ignored the little monster (he has two tiny fur siblings at home) until the nasty little dog jumped at he stroller, when that happened, my huge 100 pound sheperd calmly put himself between the dog and my baby, licked baby's face to check on her, then got a little defensive, but still just stood there defending "his" baby. The owners finally grabbed the dog and apologized, saying "good thing your dog didn't eat him" i was such a proud furmama, he did such a calm, sweet job protecting his little girl! Love my dog!

    I love hearing stories like these!!  Shepards are the best , I grew up with two and they were my main protectors even when my mother was pregnant with me. I'm so glad your dog handled that type of situation so well, but i wouldn't expect any less from that breed!!

    Aww, I bet you loved your pups! I dont post all that often, but just had to share I was so proud! My first dog was a shepherd (I learned to stand by pulling on his coat poor dog!) and I am so excited that my baby has a furry protecor/best friend :)
