why are my boobs still tiny???

I have very small boobs. I thought that pregnancy would help with this. 17 weeks and boobs are still TINY. Slightly fuller than before, but no actual size increase. SIGH. They have to get bigger eventually, right???

Mine are slightly bigger, but i had just lost 40 lbs so my bras were getting kinda empty, now they're back to being full. I know they'll be bigger while breastfeeding and then bye bye after that :-(

I'm so jealous. It's like national geographic up in here. my boobs are giant and kind of gross. I would kill for tiny perky boobs. I already had hot dogs don't think this pg wil help them later.

Big boobs aren't that great. I just bought a DD bra and think it might be too small soon :-( I had a reduction a few years ago and now they are back.

I just outgrew my DD bras and had to buy a 32 F today. Trust me, you don't want to see how unsexy the bras are in that size.

I keep wondering the same thing. While I wouldn't say I have small boobs (I wear a C or a D), they haven't grown any either.

Mine are small too- usually an A. At my biggest when my milk came in, the were maybe a full B. They have gotten bigger earlier with each pregnancy so this time on #3, they are nearing B already. My regular bras are becoming uncomfortable now at 20 wks which really never happened with my first 2 pregnancies. I will say this, I always thought I would have a boob job after we were done with kids. But having those c's even briefly was enough to change my mind. They were sweaty and in the way. I much prefer my lil bitties! Also, there are some drawbacks to having lil boobs while BF. I always had trouble nursing laying down b/c I couldn't find a comfy position. I also had to be careful about posture and not slouch. Bring the baby up to the boob! If that means using a boppy- do it. You will wreck your shoulders! But I'm sure the bigger girls had their own issues too!

And boobs getting bigger also adds stretch marks to some people (like me) and they are heavy.

I had the opposite problem- my boobs were so freakin huge I couldn't nurse laying down or I'd smother DS

Normally I'm a B cup, and at my biggest (full of milk), I only got to a C cup. It just depends on your body.

I think there's an old wives' tale about this. Supposedly if there's not a big change in boobage = you're having a boy. Do you know what you're having?

To be clear, I wasn't meaning to imply that breast size has any impact on how successful BF will be. Even with my itty bitties, I've successfully nursed both my kids :-) Just saying that there are inevitably some challenges regardless of whether you are large or small chested.

I agree with pp. I know your chest is 'supposed' to get bigger, but take it as a blessing for your body and your wallet. I'm up from a 32C to a 32/34DDD and not only have to have new bras, but new tops too. Only DH sees the benefit!!!

My friend said hers were like this! She said that they were watching a documentary on Natl. Geographic and a mother was carrying a baby on her back. When she first saw it, she thought the mother must have had a mastectomy. It took her a moment to realize that the baby was nursing while on her back! The boob was stretched UNDER HER ARM. She said she decided to stop complaining at that point because even though hers were HUGE, they certainly were not that stretchable yet.

Yes, I agree that I'd probably prefer to keep them small then to go National Geographic

And I'm lucky to have a better comfort level than many of you! However, I'm an A cup and was just hoping to at least get some temporary B's or C's out of the deal! I'm happy I haven't had to buy any new bras yet though! Oh, and yeah, despite my A's, I've still got stretch marks on them...

I was the same with my first pregnancy. BUT.... When my milk came in I felt like I was hit by a truck. I went from an A to a D overnight!
