So I spent all day today making things with my Singer One sewing machine and I sure did love it! I made my Mom a dress (it won't be pictured, because I still have to have her try it on so I can hem it.) and I made 12 burp cloths and a *blanket* made of the scraps! (If we are never fortunate to get pregnant, we still have enough nieces and nephews to justify my baby-related projects )
Also, I made my kitty a cat nip treat that she loved!
Do you have DIY projects you have done or you want to complete? Do you have a particular website (for me it is pinterest) that is your "go-to" for projects?
TTC our first. Married to, and madly in love with, my beautiful wife. Living with our fur baby and enjoying 19 nieces and nephews.
DW and I have been tracking, preparing, getting medical testing since January 2013.
First Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 08/02/13: BFN
It isn't baby related, and was super easy, but I made this bracelet today. My Mom sews and quilts. I wasn't blessed with the sewing gene, though I try every once in a while.
Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2
****All Welcome!****
We are Mommas to four fur babies - 3 dogs and 1 cat.
Great projects! I have mentioned before that I'm not crafty. Neither is Z, really, but she tries more than me. I just order stuff from Etsy.
Z just completed some scrabble tiles for the baby's room. Our good friend made us the READ tiles that I posted in the PIP Thursday thread. She taught Z how to make them. Finished project:

That's a pretty bracelet!

That is very cool decor! I can only hope we can come up with something so unique if we are lucky enough to get pregnant!

This is my work in progress. I got the pattern while I was in Barcelona. The lady who sold it to me kept insisting it was just the pattern and not the tapestry itself - and I explained that I was aware and enjoy cross-stitch. She seemed skeptical but sold it to me nontheless I'm proud to say I had the whole conversation in Spanish!
This pattern is massive and I've been chipping away at the upper-left corner for a while now.
