How old is your LO? He is 4 months and 2 weeks old
What time is bedtime? 7pm
What is your bedtime routine? Change onesie, put in magic sleepsuit, daddy gives bottle, lay down sleepy but awake
How long do they sleep? He sleeps until about 530, nurses and back down to 7-730
How are naps going? Ehhh, tried to use magic sleepsuit for naps. It will work for his first nap of the day but not the others. He is starting daycare this week. Good luck to them..
Swaddle/No Swaddle: Swaddle for naps, sleepsuit for bedtime
Crib/other (PNP/RNP): RNP for naps, crib for bedtime
Any changes from the previous week? Yes, he moved his bedtime up again to 7pm. Its getting a lot easier to put him down for naps, they are just not where I want him to sleep.
5-10 min of nakey time. ( shes so happy when shes naked!) Bath 3-4 times a week / sponge bath the other days ; lotion / massage ; pjs ; sleep sack ; bottle and cuddle time.
How long do they sleep?
Around 10 - 11 hours
How are naps going?
If I am home with her naps are great. She gets a good 2-3 hour nap in the morning and and a 2-3 hr nap in the afternoon.
If someone other then me or DH is watching her she takes a few 30 min cat naps.
Swaddle/No Swaddle:
No swaddle. ( she never liked swaddling). We use sleep sacks.
Crib/other (PNP/RNP):
Crib and she loves it !! She takes naps in her RNP time to time.
Any changes from the previous week?
Last week we had it pretty rough with teething. This week not so much, however we did have people over last night and I think she was over stimulated because it took forever for her to fall asleep. Usually she knocks out after her bottle.
How old is your LO? (hold on, let me check the app) 16 Weeks
What time is bedtime? Between 9:00 and 10:00
What is your bedtime routine?Usually she's been napping and starts to stir. We only halfway wake her up and give her a final bottle of BM then burp, swaddle and stick the binkey in her mouth. She usually konks back out.
How long do they sleep? Since we are all sleeping in the hotel bedroom now (not fun), she wakes up when DH gets ready for work around 6:45.
How are naps going? Surprisingly well! She still naps during most of her cycles. The first nap of the day is the longest- usually starting by 8:45 and she's out until a little after 10:00. All other naps are about 45-60 minutes. In the evening she may skip her 5:00 (ish) nap depending on what we are doing, but she seems ok with it.
Swaddle/No Swaddle: Swaddle with arms out for nighttime sleep. Naps we just plunk her down in the middle of the bed with pillows at the edges and she does well. I think she really likes the soft mattress.
Crib/other (PNP/RNP): Hotel PNP. Ugh. Thankfully, I remembered to bring the mattress pad from home for a little extra softness. She naps really well on soft beds though. When we find a permanent place to live, we will get her a crib with a soft mattress.
What time is bedtime? She's been wanting to go to bed around 7:15, so that's when we start getting her ready for bed. In bed usually between 7:30 and 7:45
What is your bedtime routine?
Diaper change, change to pjs, read a book if she's not screaming at us, feed, then bed.
How long do they sleep? She usually sleeps from 8 or so until 1:30, then up until this weekend would get up again at 3, then 4, then 5:30 and sometimes if I'm lucky back to sleep until 7, if not, she's up at 5:30.
How are naps going? She doesn't normally take very many long naps, but this week she seems to have taken at least one nap that lasted at least an hour and a half each day.
Swaddle/No Swaddle: No swaddle. We cut out the sleep sack this week too so now she's just in pjs.
Crib/other (PNP/RNP): Crib at night and for naps at school, RNP for naps at home.
Any changes from the previous week? We cut out the sleep sack on our pedi's suggestion. Turns out S HATES sleeping in just a onesie and diaper with her legs exposed. As soon as we switched to using sleepers, she's sleeping a lot better. We also started sleep training this weekend, and although it's been tough, she seems to be making progress on falling asleep sooner on her own, and has already cut out one nightly feed all on her own! The last two nights it's been bed, fall asleep between 8 and 8:30, wake up to eat between 1:30 and 2, then sleep until 6 when she's up for the day.
