1st baby - nervous with a few questions

Hey all! I'm 15 woks and I'm getting nervous. At least in the first trimester I was nauseous and tired so I knew for sure I was pregnant. Now I'm not feeling those symptoms and my tummy is looking smaller! I am also not as hungry :( I'm just nervous but is this normal? I have an appointment this week but i still wanted/needed to ask

Re: 1st baby - nervous with a few questions

  • Completely :) I went from having HG my first pregnancy to feeling great in a matter of two weeks and wondered the same thing. Now I'm praying for the morning sickness to end with baby #2. Enjoy it while it lasts! Then comes the third trimester... Aka someone has taken over my body, I am hot, huge, can't see my vagingle or feet and sleep doesn't exist anymore lol

  • Well your gas and bloatness may have subsided, nausea can vanish after the first trimester and energy can pickup at the start of second trimester...all explainable and "normal". ;)
  • I feel the same way, I am tempted to buy a Doppler heart beat thing becasue I am MORE paranoid now than I was before I hit the "safe" time with decrease risk of m/c! Super paranoid here!!
  • Totally normal. It's annoying not knowing. It's reassuring once you feel the baby move.

  • I am 15 weeks also and a lot of my symptoms have subsided just a little. Still tired all the time. Low energy. But, I have a doppler and got it early on in my pregnancy because I knew I would worry in between appointments since they are a month apart.(so long!!) The doppler has saved my sanity :) I actually just used it like 20 minutes ago because I needed some reassurance.

  • Yup, you're good. I shrank a bit too because bloating finally went away.
  • yesterday I felt amazing. So much energy, not nauseous, etc. It was fantastic! But I totally used my doppler, lol.

But not to worry, today was a zofran day :P I hope yesterday means things might be starting to get better though!
