Anyone's LOs allergic to... prunes?

Full of TMIs folks.

After day three of intense prune eating (and grimacing), DS has had his first "real" BM in a week. He's been having a really hard time getting it out, even with some... "help" from mama. (NOT involving a thermometer TYVM, at that point it wouldn't have done anything anyway)

Turns out he's allergic to prunes. Well, call it what you may, intolerance or allergy, he has a skin reaction that's pretty intense. All because I wanted to avoid giving
him his rx laxatives.

Has anyone experienced the same or a similar predicament with their LOs? A reaction to a "pretty tame food"?

Yes my LO is messed up and reacts to seemingly innocent foods that are supposed to help him.

    I was bored and went way back on the boards and found this post. My LO can't handle peaches. They turn him inside out with stomach pain and he has the worst, most disgusting blow outs. And this is after half a container, not even a lot.

    Have you tried flax seed oil? I haven't tried it yet but her doctor reccomended it. They also have these little glycerin suppositories that you can buy OTC. My kiddo has a constipation issue but luckily has had no problem with peaches or prunes. I'm sorry :(

    When I was a kid and I ate too much of any fruit (grapes and oranges especially) I broke out in hives. I grew out of it but I had to be careful not to overdo it on one specific fruit until college.
