My girlfriends threw me a surprise shower.

I wasn't expecting one at all and had even told both of then that I didn't need one since we are on#4.

I was told we had lunch plans with some friends of ours at a pizza place. We get there and the DH bee lines it for the big party room. I waddle behind and walk in to all my girl friends!

It was awesome! Got tons of clothes, wipes and even a new swing. Feeling very loved.

That's how a lot of people think here too and I don't mind usually. But we were given so much stuff from our friends with boys and then had all of our big stuff from when our last dd was born, that we really didn't need a whole lot, so I didn't think it was necessary. But it was nice to get together with all our friends and celebrate our sweet little guy.

That is fun! I suppose you did need some boy clothes. I mean, are showers really ever necessary? Not really. But, I am all for throwing parties whenever possible.

I get the point of them for a first timer, but like I said, I wasn't expecting one & actually told my gf no I don't need one. But having a party is always fun and it was a nice surprise.
